Custer State Park : II

















Golden light on the Prairie can't be beat. I wanted to pull over and run and frolic in the fields letting go of all manners and propriety. 

I took Skyler on a "death march". Usually Sky's in charge or choosing out hikes, but this time I decided were we'd go explore. Only I misread the map and 1 mile turned into 3, at dusk, with no water, and surrounded by buffalo. It certainly was an adventure.

Wow, nice shots. The one of the creek bed (diptych with the sunflower) is especially beautiful.
