South Dakota : Mount Rushmore

Mount Rushmore is a once in a lifetime opportunity- meaning I think only need to see it once.

As Skyler so lovingly said "it's like disneyland with no rides".

Although it was an interesting adventure, I didn't know about the controversy associated with it {they don't teach you about that in elementary school} and I walked away from it not quite knowing how I felt about the monument or the artist.

I think mostly I felt bad for Roosevelt, he got the short end of the stick on placement. Oh and poor Lincoln will never have an ear.
